Doctor In Los Angeles

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Los Angeles, CA

Hey
I just moved to Los Angeles from Denmark and are looking to try some new treatment for my Fibromyalgia. In Denmark they don't know much about Fibromyalgia which is why I am excited to try new treatments in LA. Does anyone know a good doctor in Los Angeles who knows about fibromyalgia treatments? Maybe someone who has knowledge about LDN. Has anyone tried LDN and does it work?

Pregnancy With Fibromyalgia

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
London, UK

Hi everyone I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago, I really worried about how I’m going to deal with the pregnancy. I came of all medication once I found out and I’ve been in pain since, not sleeping and just feeling exhausted. I know pregnancy in general makes you feel like crap but some days I’ve been in tears with the pain! Just wanted to see how others who have had a pregnancy with Fibro have coped.

Many thanks xx

Mattress Topper And Pillow Suggestions?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Conway, MA

I've been playing around with different mattress arrangements and pillow set-ups for years and I have yet to find relief enough to sleep. I'm considering buying some sort of mattress topper but since they are pricey I want to see what works for others. I'm desperate for sleep. Also, what sort of pillow arrangement seems to work for you? If on my side I tend to have one under my head, one between my knees and one to rest my top arm on. This seems to be the least painful position but it is… read more

Does Anyone Know Anything About Lyrica?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Prineville, OR

I'm still waiting for my neurologist to make a diagnosis, currently she is just considering this as a likely dx for my symptoms. I know at my next appt if she decides this fits she is going to recommend Lyrica as the treatment. I would like to have some information before I just agree to take another drug. Already talking one for pain and another one for tremors and muscle spasms. Does anyone have experience with this medication?

I got a mild stroke after taking lyrica so I quit immediately. Gabapentin made my restless legs worse and didn't help me at all. I'm giving it to my old 18-year-old big dog for pain.
