I need a stretching type class because I'm so bad at doing things to help my situation at home. My thigh muscles are much tighter than any others and it causes my knee caps to pull up. I have trouble with lounges and various other positions but when I stretch it helps.

I began getting a sore neck about three weeks ago it has since become unbearable. I'm not currently on any fibro meds and am really struggling with this. The pain is now causing headaches and anxiety issues. It feels as though my neck is swollen. I have been under a ton of stress so I'm not surprised I'm flaring! It's difficult to turn my head! Has anyone else ever experienced this and what did you do to ease the symptoms?
That’s awful! Absolutely unacceptable! I’ve been there and I’m glad you are no longer in that situation anymore. Should have had him thrown in jail. 😡
In the past several months,I have been having mood swings, and very short temper.it seems like I'm quick to anger, and very intolerant of people.that's just not normal for me....is it part of having fibro?
I have dealt with Fibromyalgia since 3015 and I can honestly say that living with chronic pain has disrupted almost every aspect of my life. Living with Chronic Pain can impede one’s ability to… read more

I am not sure if this a new or old symptom as I am usually more focused on the pain part of fibro, but does anyone feel a sort of sense of uneasiness or doom or sadness briefly before a flare happens? It started last night and I can’t shake it, it’s not dire but I am trying to prevent it from going into a full blown panic. We have some crappy weather coming in a few days and I am thinking it has something to do with that and the pain that is coming. I am also getting over the stomach flu and… read more
Oh and how it sure does. Makes us feel like we ate losing our minds. Hugs and prayers
I have constant knots and I have to use a massager to constantly work them out from head to toe. My muscle relaxers don't seem to work for this and I take them every 4 hours. This very much runs my days and makes me exhausted and I can't massage them every day it's just too exhausting.
Gummies help me.
I know this question got asked over a year ago, but I just want to re-flag it. Anyone else experience burning mouth pain from Fibro? Physical therapy has helped me a decent amount (by jumpstarting the nerves with a machine called an "Acuscope") but I am curious what others have done. I've had it for 7 months now and it is the worst pain I've ever felt. I don't take medications other than supplements so I know it's not a side effect. Any help would be appreciated!
@A MyFibroTeam Member the only thing that has helped me is "body scan" meditation focusing only on the mouth. it doesn't make the pain go away but it makes the area that is in pain smaller/shrinks the… read more
One month ago i saw my Dr about an irregular pulse.I had blood tests and ECG which was normal. It happens or is more noticeable when i go to bed.I just wondered if this is a problem with other Fibro sufferers and if it could be related to stress.Sometimes I feel my heart jumping in my chest.Dr said it was nothing to worry about but as it is a recent problem i would like to know your opinion.
many thanks
Thank everyone. My DR never mentioned any further tests just to get in touch if it gets worse!
I was told 2 days ago that I have Fibro by a rhumatologist. My issue is that they looked a questionaire I filled in and went off of that. I walked into the room and was told "ypu fit the classic profile of someome with fibromyalgia, we're not going to do any bloods/scans/xrays because they would just come back normal." My issue with this is, what if its one of the many other conditions that have similar symptoms? I've had no tests done by my GP prior to this either. Has anyone else had this… read more
That's the way it was for me. The rheumatologist literally looked at all the tests that 4 or 5 specialists had all done, announced that I had fibromyalgia and then informed me that he doesn't treat… read more
