Members shared enthusiastic recommendations for finding a super-soft mattress that works with fibromyalgia, with the most popular suggestions being memory foam toppers (especially 5-inch versions), Sleep Number beds that allow customizable firmness settings, and specialized mattresses from companies like N:REM that are designed specifically for fibromyalgia patients. Several members described personal success stories, including one who found relief sleeping on a waterbed, another who loves their Tempurpedic with foam, gel, and springs despite the higher price, and one whose Restonic memory foam with pillow top worked so well that their father immediately bought the same model. A recurring theme was that investing in quality sleep is worth the cost, and members emphasized the importance of trying different options like toppers, air beds, or body pillows to find what works best for individual pain levels and comfort needs.

I absolutely love my restonic and so does everyone that sits or lays on it. My dad loved it so much he went straight out and bought one just like. It's a memory foam bed with a pillow top. It's about 1/3 of the price of temperpedic brand. They also have the frame that lets you adjust the bed and have the massager on it. They're pretty amazing.

I have a Sleep Number bed, there are other 'air' beds but that is the one that I purchased. You can then set how hard or how soft you want it.

We have a sleep number bed and it's so worth it. I can't feel my hubby toss and turn and I can adjust the softness/hardness to go with my needs. Also, a good way to skirt the cost is to buy a platform frame elsewhere, and just buy the mattress from sleep number
