I recently bought a book that suggests eliminating certain foods from your diet. Does it make more sense to try eliminating one food at a time to see which one affects you the most. There's coconut milk for creamer substitute. The whol point at elimination diets is to give two weeks to each allergin to confirm or eliminate an irritant so it should be done one food or group at a time.

It takes up to four weeks for foods etc to leave your body completely, I think it works best if you eliminate everything first so wheat dairy etc wait four weeks n then add things in slowly so u can see if they have an affect on you, my friend with Ms has to this as certain foods make her condition worse

My husband was just diagnosed this week with type 2 diabetes and suddenly super high cholesterol. It runs in his family. He is NEVER sick and he isn't obese. I'm studying and bought groceries (mostly fresh) for some menus I planned out. I decided I'll share the same diet and will be anxious to see how or if it helps my symptoms. Prayerfully I will lose weight as well.

I think sugar effects me. It is so addictive. As soon as you decide to stop it in your diet I start serious cravings which probably denotes it us not good for me as I then feel terrible.
