Anyone Have Experience With Savella And Nortriptylene?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Ellicott City, MD

My Dr wants to switch me from nortriptylene to savella due to my constant high heart rate on norteiptylene, but I have read that Savella has similar side effects for heart rate and BP. Has anyone been on these meds and noticed if one was worse than the other for causing high heart rate and elevated BP?

The doctor just started me on this medication, tonight will be my first night in hoping that this one will do something for me if I'm not allergic to it,I have many problems with allergies to medications which is not good when I so desperately need something to work.

Hi, I just responded to a different thread asking about Savella. I'm on Nortriptyline and its causing me lowered blood pressure, the opposite of what you have experienced!
