Who Has Problems Getting Out Of Bed In The Morning?
I really have to have help getting out of bed in the morning. I have pain in my legs and uncontrollable legs to where I need help getting to my seat for my coffee.
When I’m having flare ups I will do the stretches too! It takes time to do them, but stretches on each leg, back, butt and the shoulders really help with diminishing pain. I would also add that if you have sleep apnea, it’s imperative to use your cpap or Bipap. Lowered oxygen levels cause muscles to ache just like doing anaerobic exercises and getting the lactic acid buildup in your muscles after a hard workout.
Alcohol can cause more issues by interfering with Your sleep patterns. Hope this helps …
I do . M’y muscles in my legs are so painful and stiff I can hardly get up and moving in the morn . It is an effort to just get up
Yes indeedy, but it's not fibromyalgia causing it. It usually takes about 15 minutes to get the covers off my legs, pull myself onto my.side, slide my legs over until my feet are on the floor, pull myself into a sitting position , grab the pole beside the bed, and stand. With luck my walker is right there . Keep in mind that I have to do all this using only my left hand because the right hand is kaput.
Yes I do at times. It did improve for me when I changed my mattress and also when I move about more. I still get it at times but not like before.
With fibro, arthritis, fallen arches, plantar fasciitis, and unstable SI joints, climbing out of bed is one of my most painful moments everyday. But rather than climbing right out, I go through PT stretches every morning. I start by swaying my knees from side to side. Then pull my knees up to my chest for count of 30, then straighten out my legs and pull my toes towards my head, On and on, slowly moving until I have to pee so bad that I must get up. But moving in the bed and stretching first makes the pain less when I stand.
