What The Eff Is... Bozenberry?
I love berries
Unsure if my new jersey, United States side asshole ever ate one or knows the taste.
From Wikipedia; The boysenberry /ˈbɔɪzənbɛri/ is a cross between the European raspberry (Rubus idaeus), European blackberry (Rubus fruticosus), American dewberry (Rubus aboriginum), and loganberry (Rubus × loganobaccus).
I wasn't going to post anything tonight but have to post because I first ate a boysenberry pie in the 1950s at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park California. Knott's Berry Farm is nothing like it was in the beginning but it partially started with the restaurant and bakery where they made boysenberry pies. I believe they started making the making the boysenberry pies in the 1930s long before it became an amusement park competing with Disneyland. I can't explain the taste and I haven't had one in many years but a lot of people still go to that restaurant for the boysenberry pie. When you come out here we can go to Knott's Berry Farm
I went to Knott’s Berry Farm as a kid 😁 Colorful place, lots of fun. This was in the late 80s I think. Maybe early 90s. It’s amazing how places morph over the years, eh Shotsey? I would love to try boysenberry pie 🥧
@A MyFibroTeam Member yes, when we lived in fort st John we were invited to an aboriginal banquet which had many dishes incorporating Saskatoon berries.
