I'm Debating Whether I Need To Step Down From My Current Role At Work So It Is More Manageable. Has Anyone Else Done This? Did It Help?
Before I was diagnosed I was in management and couldn't handle the stress as well as previous years I just knew something was wrong with my body but didnt know what. I blamed that company for putting me off management -now after diagnosis I know it was the fibro. I changed environment and 0 responsibilities but still found somewhere with decent pay. Even better than some managers! Now I know it was fibro I might try management/supervisor again one day as I'm only 32 I just have to be very careful what stress is worth it for my body. But I'm on maternity right now as my newborn is my new adventure atm 😊
If your feeling like it would help it probably will. Being able to leave work at work I think definatly helps us with fibro. Good luck on which ever you decide 💙
Thank you and congratulations on your new baby!
