Fibro Diet

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Vancouver, WA

I know that diet plays a role in just about everything, but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on a diet to try? And potentially exercises as well? I know if I lose some weight it will help some. Thank you guys!

Thank you everyone! It's hard to find a diet that's not over the top expensive and I won't have to buy separately for my son and I since it's just the two of us.

What Are You Thankful For?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Baltimore, MD

November is a time when we all take stock. Look inwards and feel gratitude and thankfulness. Having fibro can make being grateful difficult in some cases and for some people. But I thought it might be fun if we could all say something we are grateful for (even if it's just chocolate ice cream)

Oshawa, ON

I am finding that my narcotics that I've been using for years are not working as well as they used to. I'd rather not do and increase the dosage again. Beyond the opioids, I've tried a slew of things including Acupuncture, Lyrica, Gabapentin, and Cymbalta.. Currently getting physio & some osteo..
I was hoping to get some feedback about what you in the fibro community has found to work well for you..

I am just wondering what kind of all over pain others have. I have some lower back pain if standing too long and some tiredness in my upper body.
Question is does anyone have only lower severe pain below waist. That is where my major pain is,my legs are worst. Hard to stand up, pain after walking too long, pain after standing?

Has Anyone Tried One Of Those Heated Body Gillets / Tops And What Was Your Experience Of It?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am thinking of trying it for particularly cold days in or outside the house. They are washable
There is a button to turn them on on the jacket. They are chargeable and run from battery charge
Some of which I believe you can take round with you. 🤔 Just curious. For those times when the cold really hurts. I may look to see if there is a leg one
