Has anyone felt as though they have had this disease most their life prior to diagnosis?

I ask because when I was 12 years old doctors tried to put me in the Jr. RA category, and treatment of medications for such. At one point a doctor wanted to do a hip replacement on me at age 14. I look back at that time and !my symptoms are as they are now.

Yep growing pains I was told also. I remember pretty bad leg pain I'm fifth grade. I think back on my 30 and had periods of time that I was never comfortable unless lying down . I was not diagnosed until my late 40s

My daughter and I had lunch together today and said the same thing. We both think all the weird symptoms we had in our youth was probably fibro all along.
