I have had some improvement with cymbalta both pain and mental.....effexor was a terrible drug for me so bad it is list as an allergic reaction to it on all medical records....so I know for me cymbalta was a lot safer and works pretty good for me....if you have any depression associated with your fibro not uncommon I was told that I should not use savella by my rheumatologist

Cymbalta caused a psychotic episode for me. I do not believe any antidepressants work for fibromyalgia. It is not a mental health disorder.

For me the gabapentin is suppose to help with that funny bone affect I get in my arms ,hands ,and legs.I take 3 at he and 1 in am,I'm not really sure if it helps guess I'm to afraid the feeling would be worse if I did stop taking it,in other words I continue to experience that several times a day for libg periods,worse in am upon waking

I too take Gabapentin. Have no side effects and am on max dosage. Hope this helps. My son also takes it.
