I smell cigarette smoke all the time - I just thought it was my mom coming to visit - I know it sounds silly but no one else has ever told me they smell it also - now this is interesting!

I smell cologne or perfume. All the time.

I do every now and then. I usually blame it on my dad because he knows we hated it when he smoked. he passed away 11 years ago but sometimes i get that wif of it. so I say, Ok dad, you know well and good you are not suppose to smoke so go take it out side. then it goes away. everyone says I am crazy and just imagining it. lol

Yes I've got a couple off smells that no one else smells...mine is a strong chemical smell

@A MyFibroTeam Member. I've met only one other person who has this. It's not all the time. Mine starts all of a sudden and before I realize it it stops so I can't figure what the cause is. Sometimes it's so bad it's like someone is holding an ashtray under my nose. I saw ENT doc and he did scope of sinuses. Nothing there. He told me to use fluticasone nasal spray every day. But it still comes and goes. I've had it for over 30 years. I, too, accused people of smoking in my house. I also have hightened sense of smells. I can smell mold and when I worked the night shift on the nursing unit I could smell a poopy diaper from the nurses station! I wonder why cigarettes? Why couldn't it be a pleasant smell like flowers or chocolate ?
