Does Anyone Else Wake Up Periodicly Throughout The Night In Pain?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Wintersville, OH

I've been waking up every night in severe pain through my ribs and shoulders. It makes the work day a little hard on me. Any tips to sleep through the night? Just want a good night sleep.

Over the counter MELATONIN 10mg, you can buy it at Walmart. It comes in 5mg tablets that disolve under your tounge and 15 minutes later lights out! I have tried Ambien and the others but this actually works. Everyone is different but it's worth a try! God bless!

Yes it is very annoying, one of the side affects of fibromyalgia. Unfortunately I've come to rely on ambien and it has come to the point it isn't working. Asked the Dr at my last appointment about using the dose and I'm on the highest dose. So he said there is a time release ambien so I'm now trying those at the end of the month. I hope that they will help.

Even with the sleepers that I've taken for years that's made me sleep for 12hrs at least. I'm getting at least 4hrs-8hrs minium now. When my fatigue is bad I just sleep sleep n sleep.
