Members shared their experiences with body aches in fibromyalgia, with the vast majority describing constant, unrelenting pain that varies in intensity and location throughout the body, though a few fortunate members reported aches that come and go with occasional good days. Several members described their pain as moving between muscle groups, worsening with weather changes (especially cold and barometric pressure shifts), stress, and physical activity, while areas like feet, shoulders, neck, ribs, hips, and hands were commonly mentioned as persistent trouble spots. A recurring theme was the challenge of managing daily life with unpredictable pain and fatigue, with warm showers, over-the-counter pain relievers, gabapentin, tramadol, gentle exercise like yoga, and prioritizing rest emerging as common coping strategies.

I have constant body aches. Every muscle in my body is sore and weak as though I have a horrible virus. That is my baseline. Then there are days where I am in sheer agony.

My pain does not go away completley , up and down, mornings are usually stiff and achy (long warm showers help). My fatigue is the hardest for me to deal with, always been active. My most pain is in feet, knees, hips , back, hands and right jaw and areas in between. Just as most of us i have good and bad days, very difficult to plan much.

My pain does what it wantsto. Some days my legs hurt all day long. Sometimes it comes in waves. The pain will be in my arms then move to my chest, then somewhere else all in the course of a day.

I have constant body aches and I've heard from previous q & a that we must get proper rest . I have difficulties falling asleep and staying asleep so I maybe get 5-6 hours of sleep a night . I take tramadol, gabapentin at night for muscle tingling , and Otc alleve for pain . I run and do yoga 2-3 days a week and the activity helps especially after working and being on my feet 8 hours a day .
