Shannonjoy...........Too my knowledge, that just means when you have fibro to flare up on you....Or just start acting up or getting worse for a while. It seems like that early on, people with fibro only have it occationally. Now since i'm OLD :) I have it ALL the time....Just try to keep things under control as well as possible....I do know that if I hurt myself some place on my body that Mr. Fibro will really like that spot for a while.....Hope this helps....

Thank you for all the information! I was asking because in my case I never seem to get a break from it. Everyday I wake up in pain. Sometimes after taking pain medication I will get relief but it doesn't last. I do what I can during the short breaks but I go really slow and need to sit down a lot. Even though I don't over do it I still pay for it the next day. I'm so frustrated because then I have to waste a day and by the time I feel ok I'm back to square one again!
