Has Anyone Noticed An Increase In Ovulation Pain
Maybe it's because of the way our brains perceive pain and everything is magnified but I have horrible pains for a day or two around ovulation and my menstrual cramps are off the charts!!
I had that before menopause too.
never found anything that really helped, my 40's were awful. Then periods didn't quite till I was 56. They gave mini pill that did help some.
I too have really bad ovulation pains and when I am menstruating I feel so ill it's awful. I hurt from the top of my head to my toes. I also get really really awful headaches and nausea. It does help to keep me sane knowing that I am not the only one .
I no longer have periods but when I did I always had severe pain around ovulation and bad menstrual cramps but they didn't bother me that much because I knew what they were and knew that they wouldn't last. I have a tilted uterus so when I have to have a bowel movement it feels like labor pains as when the stool moves down it pushes on my cervix and that is very painful.
That's interesting! I also had endometriosis when I was younger. Then when I was pre menopausal I had the same problem with cysts on my ovaries.
I had that problem too in my early forties. I had never had painful ovulation in my life but those years were rough. I stopped having periods at about age 43 but I had about 9 painful years of peri menopause and menopause. Even though menopause brings its own bad issues, I'm glad those years are over.
