Has Anyone Suffered Really Terrible Pounding Of The Eardrums; Especially When Movng Face Such As Shiuting Your Eyes Or When Swallowing.?
For a long time now I have experienced varying levels of tinnitus; especially when I was having constant migraines. So much so that there is always a 'sound' in my ears. But recently, and more so tonight, I have had such a 'pounding' of the ear drums that it is almost unbearable to handle, and it's made worse when I've closed my eyes for the feeling to pass or when I've swallowed. Yes, all the time. I also feel like my head is filled with fluid. As if I can hear rushing fluids when I stand lay down, etc.
Yes, I have the pounding in my ears. I have constant ringing. At times I have a sound that mimics the horn on a tugboat. Sometimes the sounds get so loud I want to rip my ears off.
I find that playing soft sounds like rolling waves or soft jazz music can aid in settling mine down.

I have always had a noise in my ears as long as I can remember. I can't explain what it sounds like, but sometimes my ears ache with it.
I have a constant ringing in my ears I notice more at night or during days I am fatigued. It used to really bother me and I thought I'd go crazy with it. But although it's still there I've grown accustomed to it. If you have a doctor who listens to you it would be good to bring it to their attention. It can also be caused by high blood pressure.
