Calf Pain

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Murfreesboro, TN

Both of my calfs stay very tight like I have been running a race and the muscle stays flexed at all times it's very very painful. I do stretches and it take a little bit of pain off . Am I crazy or does anyone else do this?

I too have this issue. I have been worked up for MS, Parkinson's, and a series of blood disorders but never had a connection made to the fibro but it makes total sense. Yes, hard as rocks from ankle to knee on both legs. Eases only when I sit down. Pain is excruciating and spasms also. Thank you for sharing. So nice to know I am not alone.

Jennifer, sounds like you may be experiencing spasms. B 12 is good for muscle health. Try a complex and see if that helps some but the Soaz will also wreak havoc on leg n calf cramping and tightness. And I agree, there is very little known about Fibro. We should all be keeping journals in intricate detail because I dare say we all suffer from identical minute symptoms. For instance...my iron is high, from inflammation as I had my liver functions done and they were all normal.. I am constantly biting my lip or cheek when I eat and I often feel unsteady when walking like I'm tipsy, if only for a few steps. Well I hope you find some relief. ☆
