The pain was worse during period times. After trauma I no longer have periods but my pain is worse at time if month I would be on it

Hysterectomy at 42 as a result...the endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, and general and abdominal pain was outrageous! Now, that's one less thing to worry about and the monthly hormone swings are nill. :)

Hi Jess yes definately. It is just awful before n during the period. The fibro is so much worse. My legs get so so stiff & fibro fog is thru the roof. Not sure what helps but when i am desperate I take naproxen or para codal Fibro is really horrible.

I've only just had the notifications through about this! Thanks everyone, it makes a huge difference knowing others go through it too. I really feel close to breaking point whenever it happens.

Yes! Not necessarily the stiffness in my legs but generally in much more pain for a bit before and during my period. It also makes my IBS go crazy. And I have bad hormonal acne that flares up around that time too. I wish I could stay in bed for like 33% of each month which sucks! I have tramadol for breakthrough pain. I am also on microgestin (oc).
