I had no idea this could be a symptom but I wake very often at night to use the rest room. Does anyone else do this or have irritable bladder? If so what do you do for help?

Members overwhelmingly confirmed that waking multiple times at night to urinate is a common experience, with many attributing it to a combination of high water intake, fibromyalgia-related sleep sensitivity, and conditions like interstitial cystitis or pelvic floor dysfunction. Several members shared medications and strategies that have helped them manage bladder symptoms, including hyoscyamine for bladder spasms, Flomax to help empty the bladder more effectively, cranberry capsules to reduce burning, pelvic floor physical therapy, and preventive antibiotics. A recurring theme was the balancing act between staying hydrated and managing nighttime disruptions, with some members finding relief through medical treatment while others adapted by using protective products like Tena pants or simply accepting frequent trips to the bathroom as part of living with fibromyalgia.

Yes, went to the doctor for this. Got antibiotics now back to normal. But still get up at night, because I drink lots of water. Only 2 times. My neighbor drink no water after 6 and she doesn't get up at all. Hope this helps. God bless.
