What Kind Of Artificial Sweeteners Do You Use?

My nutritionist has put me on a diet. I have heard awful things from Splenda and she suggested something along the lines of a sucrose or fructose sweetner. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Stick with sugar. Just limit the amount you use. Artificial sweeteners trick your brain and actually make you more hungry. If you must, use stevia.

Stevia unless you have ragweed allergy.

I don't think sucrose or fructose is supposed to be very good for you. Using all natural organic raw honey to sweeten even coffee is awesome and low glycemic and also have many other health benefits like anti-inflammatory properties!
I also use agave which is low glycemic as well and you don't have to use much to get the desired sweetness.

steer clear of artificial sweetners they are approx 12x sweeter than sugar and will only serve to make you crave more sugar. Try and cut down on sugar if you can, over time your body stops craving it. Use honey or maple syrup if you must.

Hi. I think someone answered earlier about artificial sweeteners. They do something so you need more sugar to equal the taste of the the sweetener. So basically you eat less sugar, or honey. If you absolutely have to have a something sweet use honey that has some nutritional value. Agave, you hardly have to use any because it tastes really sweet. I totally agree with @VictoriaCorrine. What would be even better is to cut it out completely if you can. It's a personal thing.
