Painful Knees

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Dundee, UK

I cannot sleep tonight because of the pain in my left knee especially. This is a new pain which has only started happening in the past 2 weeks.
I am taking co-dydramol for pain but its not helping with this pain. Does anyone else have any recommendations?

Like others its a body joint and yes it gets "bloody" sore. I just try and do without analgesia and use self hypnosis to a good level.

You may not necessarily want to go on opiates, but I've been taking, (one now), for years. And I can honestly say that I don't know what I would do if I had to deal with this kind of pain without!
I see my daughter in pain and I want to cry. The doctors she sees simply refuse to give her pain medication... And I cannot give her any of mine. 😳 and sometimes she will plead with me to give her some... 😞

Because I have so many issues I'm afraid my knees are neglected... I could have surgery, but I'm trying to get through my kidney issue first.
Then, I'm hoping to get to work on my many other issues! I have so many health problems that even my doctor finds it difficult to decide what to do with me! My kidney cancer is first on the long list..
Much love, 💜
