Head Swimming And Fainting

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

For some reason I have been haveing a hard time even walking in a straight line. It's embarrassing when I don't have my boyfriend with me. I have had two concussions in the last month one he gave me and since then I have had a hard time. I also have had fainting spells. I will just start to feel weak and then lightheaded and then go down. Has anyone else had this problem?

fainting may be caused by psychological or physiological problems. It may be a sign of dehydration, low blood sugar, small seizures, arrhythmias, breathing abnormalities, anemias, and pressure on the brain caused by a number of conditions. Your doctor should send you to both a neurologist and a cardiologist and may suggest counseling as well. I hope you know that you should not be driving and it might be a good idea to keep a friend with you whenever you go about in public. a doc may suggest a medic alert bracelet and a medical alert system for you even if you are young.falling is dangerous even if you are in your home, no time to waste getting a diagnosis if possible.

Have you considered getting rid of the boyfriend? I had a headache that literally lasted my entire marriage. After I left him, my headaches got lighter and further apart. Now, I seldom get that type
Sorry about the opening line, there, but it sounds like your boyfriend isn't very supportive and if he's laid hands on your once, it'll happen again. Been there, done that.
Good luck!

Have you gone to a regular doctor or a neurologist??? You could need an MRI done to make sure there isn't something going on inside the brain that is causing your symptoms. This is not something to mess around with and your boyfriend needs to man up and either be supportive or move on.

Yes me and my boy friend had a fight and in the papers it said i had a concussion. That was the second one the first was when i got dizzy went down an hit my head on a tree. Went to Er both times but this has been going on for a while. Had scans and just showed concussions. Have been having a lot of migraines lately also. Boyfriend thinks they are just regular hradaches. Take an asprin and it will go away. I had one for 8 days and he thought i eas faking it.. how do you fak puking?
