Members connected over the original poster's question about a bone spur on their elbow, with many sharing their own experiences of bone spurs in various locations including the spine, neck, hips, fingers, toes, and jaw. Several members offered practical guidance, including seeing a doctor for proper diagnosis (since conditions like bursitis or tendinitis can feel similar), getting an MRI if needed, wearing a brace for support, and understanding that bone spurs are often related to osteoarthritis rather than fibromyalgia. A recurring theme was reassurance after the original poster confirmed it was indeed a bone spur but not painful to touch, with members emphasizing rest, monitoring for any worsening symptoms, and following up with medical care if the pain becomes disabling.

I'm an RN doubt it's bone spur they do not occur sporadically most likely is Bursitis or tendinitis of the elbow. These are the most common problems . You can look these up. They occur many times If a person is performing repetitive movements with the use of their arms and elbows. Housecleaning, work on computer etc.. Just examples.

Well it is indeed a bone spur but nurse not concerned as it not causing me any pain to touch just when I flex and extend it to the maximum! Least I know what it is - I don't know, last week it was a huge bruise appearing out of no where then this, their gonna hide when they see me on their listπŸ™ˆ xx

If it's what I think it is, I once had one right under my shoulder blade. It was like a needle pricking me. A chiropractor sorted it in one movement and it's never returned. Hope that's of help x
