Heavy
I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a month ago. I started cymbalta around that time. My periods haven't been heavy in over 15 years, now they are heavy.. I was wondering if it because of the cymbalta I'm taking
My periods were light but very cramps but my best advice is to talk to your GYN.
My periods were a mess! I would go for 7-10 and be off for 2 weeks and then start again. My gyn did an ablation. He found a fibroid when he did it and removed it. No more periods no more heavy blood clots no more cramping! It is the absolute best thing I have ever done! Since everything is still there, no menopause symptoms! I'm now almost 58. Gyn said that I would probably have periods until I was almost 60 wo having ablation! I couldn't get it done fast enough!
This is a autoimmune disease with muti hormonal/endrocine involvement. My periods were always long, heavy, painful hell. Thank god I went thru extremely early menopause & was completely done at 40.This seems to be part of the icky "side affects".
Not sure. My periods used to be extremely heavy. I've been on cymbalta for a year, lighter periods but they are more painful. The cramping is horrible. I can't get out of bed sometimes.
A Marena coil helped me with this ... I was able to go out and about ...
