Ohhh, I think I just figured out that in UK, Blue Badge might be a handi-cap plaque!
Did you find that info out?
I know there is a place or number you can call in UK for disability info.

Hope your having a better day today❤
I've been sickly a very long time and have learned to say no more when I know I can't take it. My parents can be demanding at times and I have trouble saying no to them.

I plan ahead when I know I want to do something and like well, if I need to go to the foodstore, I know I'm better when I sleep real late. Sometimes I'll shower the night before because the shower sometimes knocks me out and I need to rest after the shower.
Used the trolleys or wheelchairs the store provides and have a semi list.

When I get home. I've had all the cold items packed in the bags together so I can just put bags in fridge so I can rest 1st and put them away properly later. **same with freezer foods.

You just devise little tricks that help YOU to use less energy and promote less pain.

I'll make a post asking everyone to post their shortcuts for a better day.

Hi all you can do is put a claim in for pip as dla does not accept new claims as everything is being replaced by pip,as for the blue badge you will only get thus if your claim for pip is successful, get help from citizens advice with filling out any claim forms & if claim is denied then you can appeal, would also help to have any Dr's, health care providers who will provide evidence of your condition as well, hope this helps

Trust me, if you are in the UK visit your Home Counties webpage for example I live in essex so I went to essex county council website.... They had the link to applying for the blue badge, you can include letters from your Dr etc anything that may help your cause but ultimately it's now done this way and I've only had my badge a year.

Yes I think you go through your doctor. I have one for 12 years now.

Paulajaneallen, yes it's your local council who deal with the blue badge but unless you are on Dla or Pip then you don't qualify, so you would need to be awarded these 1St before applying for the blue badge.
