We find the same problem here. I found a website that lists 34 possible drugs to help.
www.drugs.com/Fibromyalgia. I thought if you could at least show your doctor the list, maybe they would prescribe. I've had no luck with fibro drugs, they either added unwanted pounds or were not good on my stomach. I had gastric bypass surgery after gaining
60+ lbs on Lyrica. I was even sicker on Cymbalta.
I've been doing well on Tramadol and flexeril, a muscle relaxer and Klonipins for anxiety. I take Paxil for depression. Didn't need either before fibro but it's a journey, not a sprint. I read an article about "Painsomnia" when the pain keeps you from sleeping. Made me LOL but I suffer from it, most fibro patients do... TC and Good luck in Your journey

I have seen every kind of doctor there is. There r a lot who believe n knows it real but the only thing they can do is treat the symptoms. Best of luck

I think Canada's problem is that we are years behind other countries in medical knowledge. If you think you have a problem, the internet has the answer. At least my doctor is like that. Free health care...a lot of bad doctors!
