Fibro Support Groups
Know of any in the Greater Sacramento area?
You could ask your rheumatologist if there are any near you.
I live in Sacramento and I haven't heard of any. However, I have Kaiser and they do offer a great program for chronic pain management but it still doesn't always address issues specifically dealing with fibromyalgia. The staff are well informed and can offer one on one suggestions. Sometimes it helps.

I Googled these groups for California. I am from Missouri. Hopes this helps
There are many Facebook Fibro Groups
Good luck with doctors being of any help. Their about as helpful as tits on a bull. I'm sick of all of them. I just filed a formal incident report on one of my doctors nurses and I am set up to see a new DR at a new practice.... But not until Dec 19th. The most luck I have had in ten years with support groups is online. I dont fault anyone for not being gungho to get up, go out and meet up to discuss the life of a fibro. I can't keep half my appointments so I know I probably wouldn't make the support group meetings. I'm glad to know this online group is here. Its a blessing.
