I am on disability, and I had all the doctors that finally figured out with me, send in the final diagnosis. You fill out the form, and be honest. Plus you have to put personal people that know how hard you have had it with your illness. Don't have them embellish, have them put exactly what changes they have seen in you since you have become ill.

@A MyFibroTeam Member= I believe that you're required to have a sufficient/ satisfactory treatment history for consideration purposes. Not sure but believe that is the case.

@A MyFibroTeam Member=> I am currently in the ssd application's waiting for a hearing date phase. I applied once before, and was denied and Was so distraught. I applied again only to be suffering so and with life events was dismissed I guess. And now am in my 3rd time. Submitted in August 2015 and review for hearing early 2017. Smh been out of work since 2010 and struggling the entire time.

I am just in the process of applying for ODSP as I was told by a reliable source (my cousin) that you get more money on ODSP than CPP disability. I applied for Ontario works which pays 1/2 my rent. But I also know that in a few weeks income tax will be sending me some money that is owed to me and I will be able to catch up on everything...or I don't know what I would do as I am a single mom with two young teenagers!

I too am barely able to work full-time I've considered working part time and asking for disability. But I'm single n I have no one to take care of me while I get on disability because I know I won't be able to work full-time. How long does it take together on disability?
