Yes I don't feel they had your diagnosis quite right either. I have had breathing problems that caused gaging and coughing but no blood coming up and I know this was from fibro because my chest and back get so tight I can hardly breathe. Hugs to you, I hope this never happens again, if it does, instist on more answers! :)

I am fairly old skool when it comes to fibromyalgia, had most symptoms on the list in the last 20 years and I am not medically qualified but if you ever cough up blood again do not let anyone tell you it has anything to do with fibromyalgia coz it doesnt! Not wanting to alarm you but coughing up blood is not something to be taken lightly

Hmm.. you know I don't know if I can say I feel better today . Cause I really don't feel like I have a flue or anything . I feel weak in walking since it causes me shortness of breath, my back behind my lungs hurt , not sure why , I have not been coughing hard or heavy . But now to cough I can't get it out from the tightness and back pain. My head still hurts. I feel a little fatigue since it is difficult to inhale and exhale .
But I will keep everyone posted . I will do some research today as well and post any info I find . Together we shall be able to find answers to help me to understand now and anyone going through this as well now or in the future.
