Has Anyone Been Able To Find Effective Pain Relief Naturally Without Prescriptions?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I recently stopped taking all of my medications as I have HORRIBLE withdraws just from missing a single dose. I have tried just about every medication my specialist can think of and I am sick of being a human lab rat with constant side effects. Does anyone have any all natural things that have helped them with the pain, restlessness, and fatigue? I want to become pregnant someday and can't while I'm on those medications.

I hear you. It's one drug to another! I started a new supplement called Zyflamend whole body by New Chapter. Found it at the health store nd thought I'd try it. Has a lot of good things in it. Google it. Suppose to help with inflammation and pain. Only been on it a couple days but she said she does sell it to people with fibro. Time will tell.

I've been using nerve supplements. It's slowly helping. Not as much as lyrics or gabapentin, but it doesn't have the side effects like those do.. it's a build up in your system type of thing so I'm hopeful that it helps a lot more in the very near future

Turmeric and black pepper as it improves the absorption. Excellent anti inflam. Reduce stress = reduction in pain.

I recently weaned off Neurontin. It was hell on earth .for two weeks I was psychotic, crazy outbursts, outrageous anxiety. My dr. Switched me to Lyrica which I use sparingly. I really like arthritis pain formula I buy at the dollar store. 650 mg acetaminophen in one capsule. Helps alot. Plus I use Vitamin D, tumeric capsules, and ibuprophen 800 if I think my pain is more inflammation that day than muscular. I still have to use muscle relaxers but benefit greatly from hot soaks in Epsom salts, baking soda and wintergreen alchohol. This eases my shoulder and neck pain. I also drink magnesium citrate powder mixed with water in small sips throughout the day. At night I drink rooibos tea for insomnia. My favorite website is earthclinic.com. i find many natural remedies there.
