Anyone In California On Pain Meds?
I've been told by the specialists that there is nothing they can try now until new meds for fibro come on the market. They also told me that California will not allow them to proscribed pain meds for fibro either. I need anything to make the pain tolerable.
Is this true, or should I be looking for a new set of doctors?
My primary care is handling my pain management because when they sent me to a pain management clinic, they have no knowledge of Sarcoidosis or how to treat it and thought that the Cymbalta could take care of all of my pain. Well it didn't. I am hit with a triple whammy and it is very debilitating. My pain level has never dropped more than a five.
@A MyFibroTeam Member there are quite a few of us that have a pain management Dr who helps us and is very supportive with meds so we can be as comfortable as possible.
I would surely try it. Hoping you have a comfy day. 💜💜
Do you have a pain management doctor that can help you? I know my rheumatologist won't prescribe narcotics for fibro.
@A MyFibroTeam Member not . I'm currently on medi-cal since I'm not working and Marijuana isn't allowed or they don't cover any meds
