Even when you exercise your brain everyday you struggle trying to say even some of the most simplest words? It almost feels like how they describe someone having a stroke, but you know you're not having a stroke, it's your fog.

Members widely confirmed that brain fog worsens over time with fibromyalgia, describing frightening struggles with memory loss, finding words, and completing sentences that were once effortless. Several members shared practical factors that may contribute, including medication side effects, low vitamin levels (especially B vitamins, iron, and vitamin D), sleep deprivation, thyroid issues, and chronic stress, with some finding relief through vitamin supplementation or cognitive testing. A recurring theme was the fear of losing one's mind or job, met with compassionate reassurance that they are not alone and that complete memory loss is not a known outcome of fibro fog.

Yes! My Dr. just ran some labs and my B6 is low which is not good so he asked me to take a B6 supplement. Hoping it helps with brain fog.

I'm still waiting to hear back from my doc. Probably am gonna have to have my Cardiologist recommend a good Nuerologist, since the one I have (which is new to me) seems not to care so much. This is all so frightening to me. For my Disability hearing I had someone be a witness to speak of her observations of my decline and it kills her to see me struggle. Especially since she is a vendor to our state and helps DVR people find work and most of them have cognitive issues.
