Northwest Suburbs Of Chicago Support Group
Wondering if there are any existing support groups in the Arlington Hts, Palatine, Buffalo Grove area for fibromyalgia? If not, would anyone be interested in such a group? Libraries have rooms you can be reserved. Any thoughts?
I created my own group. Our 1st meeting is Feb 7th from 9-11. It will be an introductory group, we'll go over the expectations and rules. The group is currently capped at 6 because of our meeting room size and managability. If interested in attending, please contact me directly as I am the facilitator. ☺
during the summer months, we are going to change the group to once a month because people are busy and some fibro folks can't deal with going out in the heat. So starting in June, the group will meet once per month.
Thank you for letting me know. I think that should make it easier for me. I will make note of this.
@A MyFibroTeam Member we had out first group meeting today, small but productive! And we did decide to change the time from 9-11 to 10-12 it will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday morning of each month. So if that makes a difference for you to attend, let me know. :) We'd love to have you.
@A MyFibroTeam Member yeah, the group will meet every other week from 9-11 on Wed beginning in February. Just contact me when you're ready. :)
