No. Wasn't given it for that so don't know if the dose would have been high enough x

I take it and also get a yuck taste in my mouth but I love it! I take a huge dose tho. Its only helpful at a therapeutic level so you are meant to take it for a month then get a blood test to check your levels then increase till its between a certain range
