The book is called treating and beat Fibromyalga. My mom got it for me . I haven't read it all, but I follow him on Facebook because he goes live ever Tuesday with related topics to fibro. If the specialist I got see in September doesn't help. I was thinking of consulting with him. He is located in AL but will treat you a d consult over phone. It all sounds great but I just wanted to see if anyone has consulted before.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I wouldn't say its a book about staying positive. He actually brings up the conversation of doctors saying "well you just got to live with it. "He does sell a bunch of natural remedies. However, you can view what he sells on his website and find it cheaper on amazon. I've never consulted with him before. He treats patients via phone and skype and will send you for blood tests, that most doctors don't know to check. Again, I'm Not saying he is worth it but was thinking if this specialist I go to doesn't work out. I might give it a shot. I'm just wanted to see if I could speak to someone he's worked with. I definitely don't want to waste more time and $ on something that isn't going to help.

Hi, I would guess that if you have to pay then this would be a money making scam, knowing how desperate people are to be cured of chronic illnesses. Fibromyalgia is as far as I know a life long disease that doesn't usually go away, but can only be relieved using different meds, therapy, and medical aids. Different things work for different people.

Would you say that the book is mainly about getting you to think differently and positively, like the books that try to help you to stop smoking? If so, I would not waste any money as its more beneficial to have a regular gp who knows you and has your records to hand. Also a rheumatologist, therapist that you can see in person. But thats just me, and my sceptical mind. X
