Has Anyone Tried A Hyperbaric Chamber For Fibromyalgia?
I’ve read of a study done inTurkey and another in Israel where a hyperbaric chamber was helpful with fibro pain but the FDA won’t allow it for that in the U.S. has anyone in other countries tried It? Did it help?

My Dad was going to buy me one many years ago. We have a few places here in Scotland that have these hyperbaric chambers. I have no idea the cost as it was my Dad who paid for the course. I just lay there breathing 100% oxygen feeling like I was being mocked like Michael Jackson (Sorry, Scottish Sense of humor is poor) lol..
I am glad I tried this. But I also tried Chinese Medicine. It is AWFUL, or it was for me. Basically they gave me what seemed like a big bag of potpourri. It had to be boiled in water and I had to drink the water. Put it this way it's not a taste I liked. I felt like I had to lick the dogs bum to get the taste out my mouth (Sorry I am Scottish again, lol) So many things I have tried looking back. These days I am on minimal medication and just let the pain in. We all need to find somewhere to live with all this, just a path set in stone where we can think 'OK, Lets just keep going'

Well I did the hyperbaric chamber in Eugene Oregon.
Let me know how you are able to travel.
I keep wanting to but keep getting sick.
@A MyFibroTeam Member - my husband spent a lot of time in Scotland when he was in the Navy and has some Scottish ancestry, I had to laugh at your reference to a dogs bum. Think I will stay away from that treatment LOL. Can you tell me the names of the clinics and what towns they are in? My husband is a connoisseur of well aged fine single malt scotch. When he retires in a year or so we hope to take a tour of Scottish distillaries. Maybe while he is touring I could be treated at a clinic.
yes. It was back in the 1990's, and was a trial at the university to see how well it worked. It was supposed to be for 2 weeks, and after 1 week, I was way too tired to go back (after no results at that time), from driving there, looking for parking on campus...aghhhh!..... , etc..... so, I don't know how it would have turned out.
Good luck!

That’s the Catch 22 - you can buy one for $4,000. But if you don’t have a family member in the medical field who knows how to properly use it, it can really screw you up.
