Does Driving Make Anyone Else's Pain Worse
I have a 20 mile radius that I can drive. Isn't this crap. This sure takes away from our independence. Along with fibro I have 32 diseases. It took me 20 years to accept it. Sweep a floor and I am in bed for a week. When my children were still home or if they stop for a visit they literally have to pry my hands off the handle. Now, I don't care. I come first. If there is a little dirt on the floor I go get the broom and dust pan and give it to the company who was playing with the dirt with his feet. I used to vaccume 2 or 3 times a day. Listen to your body!! It knows what it needs. Hugs.
Yes, even short drives. I get lots of pains in my hip. If I am having a fibromyalgia flare up I cannot drive at all.
This is something I worry about. My company occassionally wants me to fill in at a store 30-60 mins away. Besides the pain, I would be so exhausted by the time I got there and then again home at night.
Yes, driving more than 20 or 30 min I need to pull over. My knees get locked up and super painful, and the nerve pains in my feet and hands can sometimes be too much. My back gets unbearable from being in the car too long as either driver or passenger, learned all of this while doing a 2 day drive to another state! Hurt so bad! I am usually only a little stiff and sore after my 20 min drive to work.
Driving is absolutely a trigger for me. Any time I'm in 1 position for any lengthy period at a time I get so so sore
