A Good Dr In San Diego?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
San Diego, CA

I am very limited on which fibro meds I can take. Many interfere with my psych meds while others don't work. During the last 7 years I have found only found a few things that will relieve pain. One is flexeril and the other Norco. My insurance recently changed and I am seeing another Dr who is not helping me much at all. Does anyone live in San Diego in the Sharp or Sharp-Rees Steely insurance system have a Dr who really understands pain? He doesnt want to give me much if anything but Tylenol… read more

I'm so sorry to hear That! So many Dr's now days are not very helpful and they say it's because of the opioid problem in our country. But it's not fair to those of us who actually need it or we can't move around or get things done. I did start taking an herb called Kratom. It works pretty well actually! I didn't think it would but it's kind of expensive. You get it at head shops, but it costs like $14.00 an ounce. A friend of mine tried it and it helped so much that she sells it for $75.00 a kilo. Which is an amazing price. The herb has different strains too. Red, white, yellow, and green mainly. The reds are AMAZING for night time while the other strains are good for energy and lifting your mood. Helps with focus too. I'm not advertising for her, but it's really good Kratom which is hard to find! Just message me if you want more information. It's a miracle worker and it's not linked to any overdoses or deaths. It doesn't waste your liver or have other bad issues. The FDA did try to ban it but studies showed it's not harmful. But the FDA APPROVED meds always have a certain death rate attached to them. They are now trying to attach Kratom to overdoses, like if someone overdoses on heroin and has also taken Kratom, they will add that to it not being good for you. But it is a life saver for so many and it can't be regulated by the FDA because it's just tree leaves ground up super fine. It attaches itself to opioid and adrenal receptors. It's honestly better than a vicodin. If you take a small amount, 500mg, it boosts energy and kills pain. But if you take 1+ grams, it relaxes you and helps you sleep! Pretty amazing plant. Just spendy but worth trying for sure! They sell it by ounces at head shops. Might be something you would benefit from. I'm in school now and clean a lot more because of it. Let me know if you try it. There's some bad press about it but that's because of the fact the FDA can't control it and try to scare people from buying it. You can't overdose on it either. People can't take enough to overdose on. Hope that helps you because my Dr cut back my meds and I wasn't even taking very much and without something for pain, I go insane and get severely depressed. It doesn't make you high either, but it will lift your mood.
