Does Anyone Else Have A Hard Time Retaining Heat?
I've always had issues retaining heat, even as a child. I'm always cold, and even if I manage to get warm for a little while, if I stop moving or step into a cold room (example: work cooler/freezer), I'll lose the heat I gained and have to work to get warm again. I can't always be under a blanket, and constant movement for hours on end is often painful. Layers of clothes keep me comfortable at best, but can be a hindrance at times. Does anyone else have this problem?
Meh, doctors told me my thyroid was "low-norm" and I was okay. I started taking bovine supps and noticed a remarkable improvement. "Stop the Thyroid Madness" is a good site to recommend if you have thyroid issues, but the doctors tell you that you don't. I think we are so individual that blood work isn't always correct. So, I tried it and felt better. It could just be fibro too. Hows your temp? Is it' 98.6 or lower?
I’m not thin but am
Usually cold. I’ll be on the cool side on summer. Wear long underwear in winter even in my own house. I have developed Reynauds Syndrome so
Feet and hands get extra cold when outside but that’s a new addition to my list of maladies
Yes, since I was a child I also have always ran cold. I am naturally thin as well.
Thyroid condition causes you to always be cold. I would get your thyroid levels checked T3 and T4.
I have had a problem with cold since I was a kid growing up in Key West. and now since I have nerve damage in my hands and feet it has got worse, I am always wearing layers year round
