I have it bad in the back too, and runs thru my hip it is worst if im standing still or walking too long Finally gave in and saw a massage therapist she found my tailbone was out of place, completely sideways and pressing along the nerves. Im doing a lot of stretching, especially hip flexors, that is supposed to help alleviate alot of the lower back and hip pain. And ive given into the fad a bit and trying essential oils. I was doubtful, but even my pharmacist dad said worth a try. Some pain it really does help ease. My son is swearing by it for his teenage clumsiness, and growing pains. Worth a try?

Amazing how so many of us suffer from lower back pain. Walking or lying down exacerbates the pain in my back. My only relief is to sit on a cushioned chair or couch. Getting out of bed is not easy because my back feels as if it fused together during the night. I haven't found any good answers except mild stretching seems to help some and I take Flexeril, Tylenol, and Curamed.

Standing in one place very long is something I cannot do....it kills my lower back! I also cannot shop very long in stores. Thank heavens for online ordering and grocery pick-up.

I tried regular physical therapy and it did not work. But then I went to a workshop and learned that we first have to have hands on physical therapy to deal with the short, tighten muscles, and then when they get loosened up we need to do the physical therapy exercises given to strengthen the back. I really works and when he explained it (the doctor) it made total sense. He teaches us how to get rid of back pain the natural way. When I start mine, I will continue to inform everyone how to go about it. If that part of my body is better then that will even make life better for me. I cannot wait to get started. :)
