Does Anyone Have Ringing In Your Ears? It's Been Really Bad Lately. I Need Some Relief. Any Ideas?
I read on livestrong.com that a deficiency in Vitamin B-12 can cause ringing in the ears. Lots of older people are deficient in it. I have used the sublingual kind of B-12 for a few years now, although I seldom have ringing in the ears. B-12 will increase energy, and with fibro./CFS, I sure need more of that. Also, taking PPI's can cause a shortage of B-12 too, and I take those for a hiatal hernia. Another article even said that taking too much of certain vitamins can cause it too.
Hope all of you with the ringing in the ears problem get relief from it. It must be horrible to put up with. It's also just one of the 200 symptoms of fibro. Hopefully, we can all smile like this when a cure for fibro. is found, and try to have a happy day every day.
People with fibromyalgia may also experience many other symptoms, including tension or migraine headaches, strong emotions such as depression and anxiety, jaw pain, ringing in the ears, dizziness, rashes, sensitivity to light, sounds, smells and temperature, and dry eyes or dry mouth.
I get ear ringing a lot. I have noticed when I take pain medications it gets worse. It is a side effect of some medications. I have also noticed when I sleep a lot it seems to get worse. I do think it has something to do with Fibromyalgia but certain things like medications make it worse for me.

I have no answer for ringing in the ears, but mine is driving me MAD!! My ears are so noisey. I dislike the doctor saying that it happens in "older" people and that it is due to dry cilia (little hairs in the ears) . I have often wondered; does it have to do with stiff necks?
