Members shared widespread experiences with foot and leg cramps, describing painful toe curling, charlie horses in calves, and driving-related discomfort that limits travel to about an hour before needing to stop and stretch. Several members recommended practical solutions including compression socks (especially foot-specific or knee-high versions worn during activity or sleep), supportive shoes like Birkenstocks, Hyland's leg cramp pills, prescription ropinirole, hot water soaks with Epsom salts followed by massage, and regular stretching exercises. A recurring theme was the possibility of plantar fasciitis as an underlying cause, with many members finding relief through physical therapy, proper footwear, frequent movement breaks, and keeping feet warm to prevent cramping episodes.

Driving always makes my feet, legs, hips and back worse. I never drive more then a hour at a time without having to stop and walk and stretch. My calf’s get horrible Charlie horses in them.

@gemmalaity. I always get cramps in my feet, top of my feet, my ankles and my calves and thighs. Hits me a lot if I've been up on my feet a lot . It starts in my toes. And a lot of times wakes me up in the nite sleeping.

@A MyFibroTeam Member it sounds like you may have plantar facitiatis. Not sure if I spelled that correctly. It may be worth seeing a foot specialist.
