Took it and it messed with how everything felt. Cold was hot, hot was cold, when I pet our family dog, it didn’t feel like fur. All senses were messed up. It took away my pain, but messed up my senses. Had to stop after taking it for only one month.

I've been on Lyrica for about 10 years and have not had any side effects. I love taking it! When I run out and am waiting on my insurance to approve the Prior Authorization I can feel the difference in not taking it and taking it. I hurt really bad when I'm not taking it so it does work great for me! I also have Lidocaine Cream 3% that I use when I'm having extra bad pain...that is a miracle drug. Works as I'm applying it! Good luck with whatever you decide!

Lyrica made my hands and feet swell and I gained weight. To get relief from pain, I had to take so much it made me stupid. I couldn't multiply and I ran through stop signs. Quit taking it and did not notice much difference in pain. It did help with leg twitching at night, but side effects were not worth it.

No to Lyrcia. Had all kind of side effects!

You might be ok. Side effect of Lyrica is weight gain. And side effects of Topamax is weight loss.
As a nurse, I know of many people that say they have migraines just to get on Topamax to lose weight.
I hope you find what works for you.
I have tried Lyrica before and went off it right away. Happy to say I am fibro drug free.
