Feeling Better In The Morning....

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

So from my research im told that people with fibro feel worse in the morning and feel better later in the day. Im the exact opposite. I am a little stiff and sore when i get up but once my meds kick in i feel full of energy and ready for the day (most days anyway). But by three or four in the afternoon it feels like i have no energy and im hurting. It feels like a truck hit me. And i have no idea why. Does anyone else feel this way? Any ideas why? Or how i can keep up my energy?

I am with you. Once i get up and move, mornings are better. By 2 pm i have to take a nap. I do all my errands and doctors in the morning. Everyone around me knows not to expect me to do anything in the afternoon. If i miss a nap, which rarely happens, i end up in bed miserable for several days. It is a routine that works for me and i try really hard not to mess it up. We are all different and what works for one person does not work for another. Find a routine that works for you and stay with it. It keeps me from getting bad flares. Hugs

Some mornings I feel like you other days the opposite way round. You can never predict one day to the next. It's very frustrating.

I’m all over the place. At night I get about 2 hours solid sleep & the rest of the time I’m in bed, I’m in really bad pain.

Sorry I was waffling on as usual.. I forgot to mention, I usually check my vitamin d levels because sometimes when I get like this, my vitamin D has dropped.
I take extra supplements, I've just ordered myself some magnesium and vitamin bs.
And I try not to overdose on sugary foods.
I'm sure the vitamins help or it's just the placebo effect.
I'm not really sure but that's the only thing I can think of at the moment xxx 🤗xxxx
