Can You Get Disability With Fybro?
I have had 2 Dennials through SSI and have court in may to see if i qualify. Also have my disability/handicap tag from drs for my knee osteoarthritis, rehumatoid arthritis, thyroid, depression, but its been a struggle without income..? Just wondering if any u yall have a similar case..
This is a sore subject with me. I worked for 15 yrs. Stop to be a stay at home mom. Because I chose to be a sahm and live on one income, I can not get disability. I was diagnosed 5 yrs ago. BUT probably had it from my 30's. It was like a puzzle when fibro diagnosis different incidents over the years made sense.
There are people in my life that play the system to get disability. One gal played the game and got disability at the age of 25. She never had full time employment but because she worked the last 3 yrs she was eligible. She then went on to have 3 kids, got more money do to kids, and will get that check for life. Sometimes I have meltdowns on not being eligible. Hubby works his ass off. One income for 4. I wish I could figure a way to work but fibro runs my life. I often wish government would fix the way things are done. thanks for the venting.
@A MyFibroTeam Member i really hope so, i have all the docs that prove my condition ... thanks for ur feedback👍🏻🙏🏻❤️gentle hugs.
Don't give up. I was denied 2x and got it on the 3rd try. I think they plan on you giving up, but Don't ! You will get it. Important that your Dr's have kept good records to support your disability. I hired a Atty pro per, he didn't get paid until I won. God Bless You. Just don't give up, you are worth it my friend
I live in NZ and have no trouble at all getting the Disability for the Fibromyalgia. Some of my medical costs are covered too.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I bet its harder now for you.. try seeing an attorney or consultant for better guidance and as we know personally speaking we are aware that our jobs pay us more than disability but with our condtion we need some support since we cant manage the same as we used to and if we get things done somehow its by force i think there should be a better law to help us fybro cases to avoid delays for approval its horrible as it is but at least its some type of income to help nothing compared to regular job but it helps. Thks for ur feedback.. Gentle hugs to you stay strong and we’ll pray for the best❤️😊
