Why Am I Feeling So Tired
it only happens in the afternoons, i'm not doing any thing to strenuous so i don't undersand why
My doctor says the fibro slump in the middle of the day is an exaggerated version of a normal person's mid afternoon slump.
Fatigue is a major symptom of fibro. I have found if I take a nap everyday around 2pm , I feel much better. Staying on a schedule keeps me from having as many flares. I know its not possible for everyone to take a nap but if you stay on a regular schedule you will feel less fatigue. Good luck. I hope you figure out what works for you.
You have to keep moving to improve your blood circulation. Just do some light exercises all over your body. Wiggle your body like a worm. Raise your hands up & down. Same thing with your legs.Do this daily when you wake up to avoid the stiffness & keep the blood flowing.
So I had mono 2 years ago, apparently it is now chronic active EBV. Anyone here got stuck with chronic mono? What did you do besides rest and hydrate? MD has no treatment plan.
What helps me.is ,if I am doing chores..I have to stop..and rest in between for about 15-20 minutes..otherwise fatigue.pain.and fibro fog comes...also it is always good to ask your doctor for a EBV test Epstein Barr Test..most everyone has it..they carry it without knowing it...but for some who have it..it is chronic..your doctor can read the test to you and see if it is active at this time.. because , if you have Chronic EBV,..the change of the seasons somehow cause it to activate.....good luck gentle hugs your way
