I was on gabapentin for 6.5 months and dose increased monthly was taking 500mg 3 times a day... but never really helped.... now on Pregabalin and amitriptylline and way more effective. Nothing gets rid of the pain completely but is more bearable now and the amitriptyline has helped the fatigue by allowing me to have β€˜deeper β€˜ sleep πŸ‘

I have taken cymbalta and lyrica. And gabapentin. I can truly say . I was on gabenatain 3 years ago 300 mg in morning and 300mg at nite. Caused all kinds of mood swings did not help pain. Went off of it. Then cymbalta stared with 30 mg with lyrica after 10 months cymbalta was up to 120 mgs a day was horrible between the both. They couldn't find the right dose. Pain, depression, mood swings bruised, memory loss, also was working. I quit work cause I just lost it 1 day. Went 1 year off of those meds. Now my Dr. Put me on gabenatain 400 mg at bedtime. Been on it for 3 weeks and it has helped me a lot. Maybe right dose, maybe not in as much pain like I was when I was working, maybe lots of different reasons. What works for 1 doesn't always work for someone else. I still have pain some days worse then others, but right now it's tolerable. Good luck to ya. Hugs and Prayers
