A Hammer In My For Head When I Cough

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Gloucester, UK

So when I cough especially when I am getting a terrible pain like a hammer hitting the inside of my skull. It happens with bending forward and sneezing but no where near as bad. I have a hospital appointment... In August!!! 😱 I've tried all the sinus stuff including 4 litres of salt water... Nothing helps. I am having surgery Monday and I'm terrified how bad it'll feel afterwards. The general is scaring the shit out of me as it is as it takes me months to recover from it x

I have the same problem when I cough and sneeze it was at its worse when I was on Cymbalta. But now that I'm off it it still happens. I'm not sure what causes it but it's a normal thing for me as well with fibro and arthtitis/stenosis issues in neck. If you have answer I'd love to know. I also was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. Maybe look that up?
