How Does Anyone Deal With The Tinnitusus

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

5 months ago I had to have dental surgery, twice they had to do surgery, and some other major dental work, the ringing in both ears are louder than ever, feel like my head is going to explode and it’s driving me insane😭😭😭all doctors I’ve seen can’t do anything for it. Losing sleep, which I sleep with the tv all day and all night, it’s so irritating I feel like I’m going insane.

My ears are terrible. My left ear than my right. I can't hear the TV most of the time and we have to turn it up pretty loud. Thank goodness it doesn't interfere with my sleep, although I take medication to help me sleep. I actually have an appointment next week with a hearing aid specialist that has a treatment for tinnitus.

Hi Helen. Is your ringing still bad? I think I replied awhile back but not sure. I had ringing in my ears when I stopped my Opiates and chose a different route. The ringing was mainly in my right ear and it sounded like I had a heart beat in that one ear that was loud, annoying, and made it difficult to go to sleep! Drove me crazy. So I do understand. After about 3 months it finally went away and now I just get occasional ringing which isn't too bad and doesn't last too long. I will try to research what you can do. Gentle Hugs!

Lol oh dear, you’re a cheap drunk then....we’ve got to find the funny sides of things huh......I never know what’s causing my wobbles, is it my tinnitus, or is it my Fibro.....or is it something else, going on......who knows right....

I've had a buzzing noise in my left ear for years so I can relate to your pain. My constant Dizziness makes it worse, and if I don't sleep more than 4 hours it really gets bad. Have you tried antivert? I found it helps a bit. I'm hoping you get relief soon, sending you gentle hugs

@A MyFibroTeam Member Please let me know how you make out with the doctor for your tinnitus. I have had it for over a year now and it never goes away! I've heard there is nothing anyone can do to help it. I was told at my ear nose and throat doctor that if I need hearing aides that they would help with the tinnitus but I don't need hearing aides yet. I hope you have a pain-less day. sending you warm, gentle hugs!
